Care Partner (Certified Nursing Assistant)

Job Description:

• Provide direct care to residents under the direction of licensed nursing staff
• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate lifting and transfer techniques
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to nursing staff
• Assist with meal service and feeding residents as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including changing linens, making beds, and tidying up resident living areas
• Participate in resident activities and socialization opportunities
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and observations
• Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
• Other duties as assigned including caregiving, cooking, or housekeeping

• Valid certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is required in the state of practice
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous experience in residential care facility or assisted living setting is preferred
