What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Statistician (Research) 40D position at Care New England?
Job Summary: The Research Statistician collects, organizes and analyzes statistical data for research projects. The incumbent works closely with the members of the research team to identify data needs, develop procedures for collecting data, and perform statistical analyses and interpretation. Prepares statistical reports and analysis as well as assists with grant preparation and abstract/paper presentations.
Specifications: Masters Degree in statistics/biostatistics or epidemiology/public health with strong quantitative background and three to five years experience with analysis of data in health care research. Must have working knowledge of Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) and/or STATA. Grant writing experience helpful; strong communication skills required.
