Job Summary:
The Senior Total Rewards Analyst will partner with internal teams and external partners to support Care New England’s Total Rewards strategy in the areas of; compensation, benefits, retirement and wellness for populations covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
They will act as the Subject Matter Expert on Total Rewards-related provisions in each Collective Bargaining Agreement. The incumbent will provide support to the Labor Relations division in areas of labor management related to total rewards including bargaining preparation, financial modeling and analytics, creating and refining negotiation proposals and fulfilling data requests..
This role will require strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responds to data and report requests, partnering with outside consultants as needed, to prepare recommendations for negotiations that support the System-wide total rewards strategy
Acts as a liaison between the Total Rewards team, internal communications, and labor relations to draft and refine proposals related to Total Rewards, as well as provide support and advice to the bargaining teams at negotiating sessions
Acts as a member of negotiating teams representing Total Rewards
Presents Total Rewards strategy recommendations to various bargaining committees and leadership teams as needed
Exercises use of independent judgment, applies analytical skills to evaluate alternatives to varying plan designs and cost structures for Total Rewards programs
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders
Maintains union compensation programs including step increases, annual increases, longevities, etc.
Monitors market data for changes in applicable roles, making recommendations as needed, and participates in related surveys
Maintains data integrity within HRIS such as step tracking, benefit and PTO groups, job title classes, labor orgs, etc.
Responsible for annual and ongoing health savings account funding, tracking and reconciliation
Supports HR Business partners by providing grievance support related to Total Rewards as needed
Proactively makes recommendations for process improvement and efficiencies
Assist with annual audits for retirement and benefits programs
Responds to a variety of employee inquiries and provides clear explanation and resolution
Performs other job related duties as requested
Requirements:
Bachelors degree required
Minimum 3 to 5 years within Human Resources required.
Total Rewards (compensation or benefits) experience required.
Experience working in a union environment highly preferred
Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
Must be able to prioritize tasks while managing multiple projects and competing deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrated knowledge of applicable employment laws, regulations and best practices
