Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to children in their homes, working under the supervision of licensed Occupational Therapists
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify children's strengths, challenges, and goals for therapy
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to support children's functional skills and abilities
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements and Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- NBCOT Certification for Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on case load
