About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-to-one nursing care in a home environment for our clients.
As a Care Options for Kids nurse, you will work with autonomy and independence, making a real difference in the lives of your clients and their families. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, and we value the clinical knowledge and expertise of our nurses.
A Day in the Life of a Care Options for Kids Nurse
You will start each day by connecting with your care team and reviewing your client's information through our electronic health record (EHR) platform. Your client will greet you warmly, and you will assist with their morning routine, including preparing and administering medications, performing trach and g-tube care, and documenting notes and assessments electronically.
Throughout the day, you will engage in a variety of activities with your client, such as going outdoors, playing games, or reading books. You will also have the opportunity to build your clinical expertise and shape the lives of your client and their loved ones every single day.

Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) / Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Providing one-to-one nursing care in a home environment
- Taking direction from the clinical team and being overseen by a registered nurse
- Following the plan of care
- Following all clinical and office policies
Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) / Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Valid New Jersey LPN/RN License or Multistate License
- Physical examination within three years
- PPD or Chest X-Ray
- Valid BLS CPR card (obtained in person, not online)
- Valid driver's license
- G-tube, trach, vent experience or willingness to train
