Care Options for Kids:
As a school-based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will work closely with Occupational Therapists and school staff to implement individualized therapy plans for students. These plans focus on enhancing the students' physical, cognitive, and emotional development, aiming to improve their ability to participate in daily school activities.
About the Role:
- Implement therapeutic interventions that support student participation in school activities
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide assistance in assessing student needs and developing goals for occupational therapy
Requirements:
- NBCOT Certification for Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of WA
- Pediatric focus and/or School-Based experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information
