A Day in the Life of a Care Options for Kids Nurse
You start your day by connecting with your care team, reviewing client information in our EHR platform, and planning activities tailored to each child's needs.
Throughout the day, you provide one-to-one nursing care, preparing and administering medications, performing trach and g-tube care, and documenting treatments within our Point of Care platform.
You work collaboratively with the clinical team, following the plan of care, and maintaining open communication with families and colleagues.

Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
- Providing one-to-one nursing care in a home environment
- Taking direction from clinical team and being overseen by a registered nurse
- Following the plan of care
- Following all clinical and office policies
Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) / Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Valid Pennsylvania LPN/RN License or Multistate License
- Valid BLS CPR card (obtained in person not online)
