A Day in the Life
As a pediatric licensed practical nurse with Care Options For Kids, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with children and families in a home environment. Your day will begin with a meeting with your care team to discuss the client's needs and develop a plan of care. You will then provide hands-on care to the client, including administering medications, performing routine tracheostomy and gastrostomy tube care, and assisting with daily living activities. Throughout the day, you will also maintain open communication with the client's family and other members of the care team to ensure seamless care coordination.
Responsibilities
Providing high-quality, patient-centered care to children and families in a home environment
Taking direction from clinical team leaders and being overseen by a registered nurse
Following established plans of care and office policies
Requirements
Valid Pennsylvania LPN License or Multistate License
PPD or Chest X-Ray
Valid BLS CPR card (obtained in person)
Valid driver's license
G-tube, trach, vent experience or willingness to train
