Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
- Medication administration per physician orders
- Physician-ordered treatments:
- Nutrition via a feeding tube
- Tracheostomy care
- Suctioning nasal, oral, and/or endotracheal
- Ventilation care
- Seizure assessment and treatment
Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
- Current, active Colorado LPN license
- Current BLS CPR card
- G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willingness to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QFT)
