Responsibilities
- Medication administration according to physician orders
- Physician-ordered treatments including:
- Nutrition via feeding tube
- Tracheostomy care
- Suctioning (nasal, oral, and/or endotracheal)
- Ventilation care
- Seizure assessment and treatment
Requirements
- Current, active Florida RN or LPN license
- Current BLS CPR card (in-person, not online)
- G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willingness to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QFT)
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided free of cost if needed)
- 1-Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
