Responsibilities
- Administer medications as ordered by physicians
- Provide physician-ordered treatments, including:
- Nutrition via feeding tube
- Tracheostomy care
- Suctioning (nasal, oral, and/or endotracheal)
- Ventilation care
- Seizure assessment and treatment
Requirements
- Current, active Florida LPN license
- Current BLS CPR card (in-person, not online)
- Experience with G-tube, trach, vent, or willingness to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
- 1-Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (available on DOEA website at no cost)
