Pediatric Clinical Liaison
Care Options for Kids (COFK) connects leading home care specialists with families to provide best-in-class nursing, therapy, and school-based services. We seamlessly integrate into clients’ lives by bringing individualized care to where they live, work, and play.
Care Options for Kids is looking to hire an clinical liaison. The clinical liaison will utilize their clinical knowledge, communication skills, and marketing abilities to initiate one-on-one dialogue with referral sources, families, and prospective clients to help explain and educate on home health services, while also supporting sales and marketing through educational programs, meetings, and presentations to assigned hospitals.
Responsibilities of the Position
1. Develops and maintains a professional relationship with referral sources, medical professionals, and other health care providers and facilities throughout the Central Pennsylvania area
2. Develops sales and marketing strategies and objectives and forecasts sales projections
3. Develops new referrals for the company including, but not limited to, acute hospital outpatient practices, pediatric and adult Medicaid MCO case managers, commercial insurance case managers, and school districts
4. Promotes COFK’s services by clearly articulating the features and benefits of the company
5. Coordinates safe discharges of pediatric and adult clients to the home setting
6. Assists the clinical liaison team with the overflow of referrals
7. Participates in various marketing functions
8. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Conditions
1. Position may be stressful in terms of meeting deadlines
2. Travel is required
3. 16 weeks of extensive role-specific training. After completion of training, you have the opportunity to work 1-2 days hybrid.
Qualifications
1. Must hold a current license in good standing in the state of practice
2. Bachelor’s degree preferred
3. At least one year of pediatric experience required
4. Sales/marketing experience in health care preferred
5. Three or more years of health care sales/marketing experience preferred
6. Strong leadership and organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
7. Must demonstrate exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
