Responsibilities for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)
- Administer medications as ordered by physicians
- Perform physician-ordered treatments including:
- Nutrition via feeding tube
- Tracheostomy care
- Suctioning of nasal, oral, and/or endotracheal sites
- Ventilation care
- Seizure assessment and treatment
Requirements for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)
- Current, active Texas LVN license
- Current BLS CPR card obtained in-person
- Experience with G-tube, trach, vent or willingness to train
