Responsibilities for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)
- Administer medications as ordered by physicians
- Deliver physician-ordered treatments, including:
- Nutrition via feeding tube
- Tracheostomy care
- Suctioning of nasal, oral, and endotracheal airways
- Ventilation management
- Seizure assessment and treatment
Requirements for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)
- Active Texas LVN licensure
- BLS CPR certification obtained in-person
- Experience with G-tube, trach, vent, or willingness to train
- Availability to work nights and weekends
