**Job Description:** The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will work closely with occupational therapists and school staff to provide individualized therapy services to students with disabilities.
**Main Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement therapy plans that address students' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with school staff to create inclusive learning environments that promote student participation.
- Provide training and support to staff on adaptive equipment and strategies for supporting students with disabilities.
**Requirements:**
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- NBCOT Certification for Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in WA (required upon start date).
- Desirable: prior experience working with children with special needs or in school-based settings.
