Key Responsibilities and Requirements
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), your key responsibilities will include:
- Administering medications as prescribed by physicians
- Providing ordered treatments for patients, including:
- Nutrition via feeding tube
- Tracheostomy care
- Suctioning nasal, oral, and/or endotracheal
- Ventilation care
- Seizure assessment and treatment
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A current, active Texas LVN license
- A valid BLS CPR card obtained in-person, not online
- Experience with G-tube, trach, vent care, or willingness to train
