About the Role

Care Options for Kids seeks a skilled and dedicated School-Based Physical Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate occupational roles and physical performance of students with physical and/or cognitive impairments.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate physical therapy programs to provide appropriate fine motor and/or sensory integration skills.
• Provide interventions based on student deficits and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution of higher education.
• Current Active State License to practice Physical Therapy in the state you are looking to work within.
• Pediatric focus and/or School-Based experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information.
• Knowledge of therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
• Excellent communication – verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
• Responsive to requests.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto liability insurance.
