Currently we are looking for a ICU - Intensive Care Unit RN!
Location: 2801 Debarr Rd Anchorage, AK
Estimated Blended Gross Weekly Pay Rate: $2782.88
Shift: 7:00AM - 7:00PM
Duration: 13 weeks
Description:
Shift: 7:00AM - 7:00PM
Need: RN **AK RN License is required for submission**
Unit: ICU
Start Date: asap
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Unit Information: CCU
Unit(s) Information:
- Number of Beds - 14
- Number of Staff - 8 RNs per shift
- Type of staff:
o Day Shift - 1 Charge RN plus7-8 Staff RNs
o Night Shift - same as days
- Patient Ratios - 2:1, 1:1
- Type of equipment - Alaris IV pumps,
- EMR - EPIC
Required Experience/Skills/Certificates:
- Experience with EPIC
- Independently manage intubated patients and titrate pressors
Preferred or nice to have:
- 1 yr of experience recovering open heart surgeries <12 hr. post op
Typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- Intubation, art line insertion, chest tube insertion, central line insertion
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- RN: RN LICENSE, BLS, ACLS
- ORT: BLS
Floating Area(s):
- Per union contract if unit is overstaffed travelers will float out to other departments first- MOU, CVSU, Ortho, Rehab or SPCU.
Dress Code:
- Scrub Color/Attire - Navy Blue
Weekends and On call(if any)
- M-F ASSIGNMENT
