Job Summary: You will conduct clinical, comprehensive assessments and provide individual, family, and group counseling services both in-person and via telemedicine.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct clinical, comprehensive assessments for assigned caseload.
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling services in-person and via telemedicine.
- Empower consumers through ongoing support and meetings.
- Provide social and coping skills training.
- Provide psycho-education to consumers, their families, and their support network.
- Provide crisis intervention services and substance abuse treatment
- Provide trauma-informed and phase-specific care.
- Build and maintain relationships with family and other key support systems.
- Collaborate with the treatment team and recovery support personnel to ensure care is coordinated.
- Promote a culture of CSC and CIS care in Northern NJ.
What We Need to See:
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Provisional/Professional Licensure to practice counseling/clinical social work (LAC, LSW, LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in the mental health field
- Experience providing services to adults with opioid use disorders preferred
- Must have the ability to respond to clients for crisis intervention.
- A valid driver's license and you must be insurable by the agency's automobile insurance
