Care Provider

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Provider to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a home or group home setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, with the ability to assist with daily living activities and promote a safe and supportive environment.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Provide medication administration as prescribed, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Conduct patient observation to monitor health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Take clients out on community outings 2 or 3 times a week.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, promoting emotional support and companionship.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home community care or as a caregiver is preferred.
• Knowledge of meal preparation
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols and patient observation practices.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in helping others.
