Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Activity Aide to join our team in Barron, WI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in planning and implementing activities for residents in a long-term care facility. The Activity Aide will work closely with the Activities Director to create engaging and stimulating programs that promote socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation for residents.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in organizing and leading group activities such as games, crafts, and outings
• Providing one-on-one support to residents who may need extra assistance or encouragement to participate in activities
• Documenting resident participation and progress in activity programs
• Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being and satisfaction of residents

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with older adults, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Previous experience as an Activity Aide in a healthcare setting is preferred.
