Introduction
We are seeking a Certified Assistive Technology Provider to join our team at Care Remedy. The ideal candidate must be certified with RESNA (Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America) or accredited by another nationally recognized certifying body.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client-centered evaluations to determine appropriate assistive technology (AT) solutions.
- Recommend, install, and provide training on AT devices such as mobility aids, communication tools, environmental controls, and more.
- Collaborate with families, care teams, therapists, and funding sources to ensure effective AT implementation.
- Document assessments, service plans, recommendations, and follow-up activities in a timely and compliant manner.
- Remain current on AT advancements and regulatory standards (including ADA compliance).
- Support clients in navigating funding options including Medicaid, waiver programs, and private insurance.
- Contribute to care plans and participate in interdisciplinary team discussions.
Requirements
- Mandatory:
- Certification as an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) through RESNA, or
- Accreditation through another nationally recognized AT certification body.
- Degree in a related field such as Occupational Therapy, Rehab Science, Special Education, or Engineering.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on experience providing or coordinating AT services.
- Knowledge of ADA regulations and accessible technology solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with assistive technology funding processes in Massachusetts.
- Multilingual ability is a plus.
