The Social Media and Communications Associate supports the Marketing and Development Department in the coordination, creation and dissemination of content for the health center’s marketing, communications, and social media (SM) activities. Their goal is to further the health center’s mission, goals and visibility in a measurable way(s). In conjunction with the Behavioral Health Services, The SPOT, Health Promotion and Communications and the Marketing Department, he/she will assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of strategies, marketing, healthcare education, and communications initiatives to support patient retention and attract new patients to the health center.

This work requires the following physical activities: constant hearing/ visual acuity. Frequent sitting, talking in person, and talking on the phone. Occasional walking, driving, standing and stretching/reaching. Work is performed in office, community and social settings. Participates in health center development activities as requested. - Assist in the design and implementation of a monthly/quarterly SM strategy with objectives and tactics that align with monthly and quarterly marketing goals specifically for Behavioral Health and The SPOT. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and create monthly/quarterly strategic SM editorial and content calendars.
- Create and post content across all platforms in accordance with calendars and as the need arises.
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor client reviews on social media
- Monitor customer engagement via SM presence, website traffic and SEO keywords with insights to recommend strategic shifts and optimizations.
- Oversee social media accounts’ designs and layouts to ensure brand standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
- Assist with managing analytics that measure the results of all marketing and communications activity against KPIs to inform future marketing campaigns including monthly, quarterly, and yearly dashboard and activity analytics for email communications, SM, and SEO.
- Assist in the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing strategies, tactics, and KPIs to promote the health center and quarterly initiatives.
- Research, curate, and create content that supports ongoing and targeted marketing plans, including, but not limited to:
- Internal and external newsletters, articles, and e-blasts
- Annual Report, brochures, invitations, websites, catalogs, health center spreadsheets, sponsorship materials, and other marketing related information.
- Research and draft educational content on health issues and distribute as needed to individuals, social services, organizations, and businesses.
- Ensure Care Resource identity and brand book standards are met
- Assist in overseeing the translation of all traditional and digital content including print, websites, e-blasts, and social media into Spanish and Haitian Creole
- Assist in aligning public relations and donor relations strategies and communications.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Minimum two years’ experience in marketing, PR, Communications or SM management (healthcare focus preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingual highly desired).
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of healthcare marketing.
- Excellent knowledge of platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram and have working knowledge of organic and paid social media platforms and their capabilities.
- Up to date on the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
- Microsoft Office Proficient (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint), HTML, Hootsuite, Constant Contact, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- A team player who is motivated by the mission of Care Resource and has the character, integrity, and service orientation to represent it.
- Thinking outside the box, project management, problem solving, and teamwork skills required.
- Experience in working with multicultural populations.
- Experience and demonstrated success in working with the media required.
- High energy level, detail-orientated and self-motivated.
