Production Workroom Associate Feb 2025

This job is a perfect fit for a strong individual who enjoys interacting with team members and the public. The pace is fast and interesting as the successful candidate handles inventory movement, processing and storage in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis, multiple times an hour, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. Safe lifting is paramount; we use the proper tools to move donations! Physically able to remain standing for long periods of time. Friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic individuals with customer service skills are required.

Full- and Part-time positions are available.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join our team at Care & Share Thrift Shoppes. In this role, you will play an essential part in our operations by assisting with the processing and preparation of donated goods for sale. Your contributions will directly support our mission of community service and charitable giving.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist in the sorting, processing, and organizing of donated items.
• Participate in assembly line tasks to prepare products for sale.
• Utilize hand tools for various production tasks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the production area.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with sorting and processing environments is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely.
• Experience working on an assembly line or similar production setting is preferred.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
