Position Overview:
As a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Inpatient Physical Rehab/Hospital Pain Management/Outpatient Spine Care, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with acute and chronic pain conditions as well as physical rehab needs. You will collaborate closely with our team to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at optimizing function and relieving pain.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with pain-related conditions
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management, injections, and other interventions
- Provide patient education and counseling on pain management strategies and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Current unencumbered licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida
- Experience or strong interest in physical rehabilitation and pain management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
