We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Activities Assistant to join our team at our nursing home in Muncie, IN. As the Master of Fun, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a variety of activities and events for our residents to enjoy.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize daily activities and events for residents
- Assist with transportation of residents to and from activities
- Encourage resident participation in activities and events
- Assist with set up and clean up of activities and events
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation in activities
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure resident needs are met
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an Activities Assistant in a nursing home setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
