Brookside Care Strategies - Muncie, IN, 47303
Brookside Care Strategies is seeking a Licensed Nurse, LPN with a specialty in Behavioral/Psych to join our team in Muncie, IN. The ideal candidate will have experience in Psych Nursing, Behavioral Health, Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation, Long Term Care, and Nursing Home settings.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient progress and behavior
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families
- Assist with activities of daily living and personal care
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Requirements:
- Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Indiana
- Experience in Psych Nursing, Behavioral Health, Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation, Long Term Care, and Nursing Home settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
