Job Description
Brookside Care Strategies is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide with a specialty in Psychiatric and Behavioral Health to join our team. The Nurse Aide will be responsible for providing care to patients in our Long Term Care facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist with group therapy sessions and other activities as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification
- Experience working in a Psychiatric or Behavioral Health setting
- Experience working in a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation facility
- Experience working in a Long Term Care or Nursing Home facility
