We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Manager to join our team in a nursing home environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing schedules for a large team of healthcare professionals, as well as a strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges of a nursing home environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain schedules for nursing home staff, including nurses, aides, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure that all shifts are adequately staffed and that staffing levels meet regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that schedules are aligned with patient needs and care plans
- Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to ensure that staffing levels remain optimal
- Communicate with staff regarding scheduling changes and updates
- Provide support and guidance to staff regarding scheduling policies and procedures
- Collaborate with HR to ensure that staffing needs are met and that new hires are properly onboarded
- Track and report on key scheduling metrics, such as overtime and absenteeism
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a scheduling manager in a nursing home environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines
- Must have a minimum CNA license
