Poplar Care Strategies is seeking a reliable and experienced Transport Driver to join our team. The Transport Driver will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during transportation
- Assist patients in and out of the vehicle as needed
- Maintain accurate records of patient transportation
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and cleaning
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience working as a Transport Driver
- Knowledge of nursing home and healthcare facility transportation regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
