Care to Stay Home - Caregiver Lead Opportunity
Care to Stay Home is seeking a Caregiver Lead who exemplifies professionalism in every situation and is passionate about enhancing the lives of seniors. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference by supporting seniors in maintaining their independence and improving their quality of life. You will also train and evaluate new caregivers to ensure they are proving top quality care to our clients. This is a full-time 40 hour a week position that will consists of about 60% field work and 40% office work. You must feel comfortable with training new staff and providing feedback on their performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Step in for caregiver shifts when needed due to call offs, provide essential caregiving tasks such as light housekeeping, running errands, medication reminders, and personal care.
- Initiate care with new clients, conduct home visits, and communicate any updates or changes in the care plan to the Care Manager.
- Introduce permanent caregivers to clients and their families.
- Complete home safety assessments and quality assurance visits to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Support office staff with administrative tasks related to client care.
- Collaborate with the care management team to train new caregivers, including leading Skills Training during orientation.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteed 40 hours per week, typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (occasional weekends as needed).
- Location: Spokane Valley, WA office providing coverage for all of Spokane County as needed.
Qualifications:
- WA - NAC active certification with a minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience
- Completion of Nurse Delegation Core and Nurse Delegation Diabetes (will be required within 2 months of hire)
- Must be comfortable with all types of clients from basic companionship to end of life care. Must be able to work in homes where there may be smokers and/or pets.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation
