Job Title: Caregiver Needed for Immediate Hire in Nile
Location: Nile, MI
Pay Rate: $16 per hour
Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide essential support for a client in their home. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities, personal care, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our client who has mobility challenges due to a hip condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, including grooming and hygiene tasks
- Provide stand-by assistance for transfers and ambulation
- Support meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition
- Offer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Help with errands and household tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized living space
- Interact positively with the client’s pets (two Great Danes and three cats)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or personal care services preferred
- Knowledge of basic personal care techniques
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with family members
- Must be comfortable with pets
Requirements:
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to lift and assist the client as needed
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Background check will be conducted
