Position Overview:
As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personal care, assistance, and companionship to individuals in need, including seniors and people with disabilities. Your responsibilities will vary based on the specific needs of our clients but will generally include helping with daily activities, mobility support, personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Ensure client safety and comfort at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
- Ability to provide personal care and assistance in a respectful, patient, and empathetic manner
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation is a plus
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training can be provided)
