• Monday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sunday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Job Description:

We are urgently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced caregiver for a client in Marshall, MI. The ideal candidate will be someone who is dependable and has the ability to provide a wide range of caregiving services. This position is ideal for someone who is patient, detail-oriented, and enjoys providing assistance in a supportive, caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care Assistance: Provide standby assistance with personal care during showers (supervision only). Help with transfers as needed and assist with ambulation using a walker.
• Transportation: Provide reliable transportation to and from various doctor's appointments and errands, including trips to the store.
• Meal Prep & Medication Reminders: Prepare meals and assist with medication reminders to ensure the client maintains a healthy routine.
• Housekeeping & Laundry: Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and ensuring the living space is tidy and organized.
• Errands: Assist with any errands as needed.
• Companionship: Engage with the client in activities and ensure a supportive environment.

Other Important Information:

• The client lives in an apartment with another person who smokes cigarettes outside the apartment.
• The client uses a nicotine vape, so the caregiver should be comfortable with this.
• The client has a cat in the home, so the caregiver should be comfortable with pets.
• Reliable transportation is required as the caregiver will need to drive the client to appointments and outings.

Required Qualifications:

• Prior caregiving experience is required.
• Ability to assist with mobility and transfers.
• Comfortable providing companionship and engaging in light conversation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction well.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and trustworthy.
