Job Title: Caregiver
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THIS FIELD
MUST BE RELIABLE WITH (2) PROFESSIONAL, EXCELLENT REFERENCES
Must have experience with transfers from chair to bed and back as well as providing personal care such as bathing, toilet assistance, dressing, grooming, etc..
Those applicants with a bad back or unable to lift 50 lbs. are encouraged not to apply for this particular position.
Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in their homes or residential facilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Skills:
- Experience in meal preparation and following dietary guidelines
- Knowledge of first aid and ability to respond to emergencies
- Familiarity with senior care and memory care techniques
- Understanding of home care principles and practices
- Ability to provide direct support to individuals with physical disabilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
