Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented medical customer care specialist. This customer care specialist will act as a liaison, working with our healthcare professionals to gather documentation from the intake through final payment collection. Customer feedback is priceless, and this customer care specialist can gather that for you. Problem-solving comes naturally to customer care specialists. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigating if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer issues. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clinicians and therapists to gather necessary information.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information using appropriate methods and tools.
- Handle customer issues, provide suitable solutions and alternatives within designated time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, faxes in a timely fashion.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions, customer accounts, and maintain proper documents.
- Adhere to communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Assist customers in a retail environment.
- Assist with the measurement for compression garments and other medical devices.
- Billing and ordering of custom compression garments.
- Perform patient benefit checks with insurance companies.
- Go the extra mile to engage customers.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Skills
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative.
- Knowledge of medical billing terminology.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt and respond to different types of personalities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

· Pay: From $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
- 2 weeks PTO
- Up to 3% SIMPLE IRA match
