Job Summary
A Speech Language Pathologist administers speech therapy to patients on an intermittent basis, following physician orders and plan of care under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a full range of Speech Language Pathology Services as ordered by the patient's physician.
- Participate in patient care planning with other home care personnel.
- Instruct patients and family members in home programs.
- Comply with Medicare documentation requirements.
- Help develop and revise the plan of care as necessary.
- Advise and consult with families and Agency personnel.
- Participate in in-service programs and QAPI activities.
Requirements:
- Master's or doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Licensed to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in Washington State.
- Two years' experience preferred, with home health experience also preferred.
- Ability to travel within Pierce and/or Thurston County.
