LPN
CareArc is accepting applications for a full-time LPN.
Primary Functions
- Perform general nursing care to patients, including initial intake. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and under the direction of the clinic physician or mid-level.
- Greet patients and prepare them for physician/nurse practitioner examination. Screen patients for appropriate information by obtaining and updating health history, including physical, social, and psychosocial status.
- Maintain timely flow of patients.
- Complete, document, and inform patient of referrals, prior authorizations, and transmit needed documents to specialists and pharmacies.
- Administer medications, vaccinations and treatments accurately, observing and documenting patient response.
- Adheres to infection control, standard precautions, and the use of proper PPE per CareArc policy.
