Your Day-to-Day as a Home Health Physical Therapist
As a Home Health Physical Therapist, you will conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, develop tailored care plans, and provide skilled physical therapy services in patients' homes. Your role will involve educating patients, advocating for their needs, and maintaining accurate records.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A degree from a physical therapy school approved by The American Physical Therapy Association, the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, or the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association
- Registration in Connecticut
Prior home health experience and OASIS familiarity are advantageous.
