About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, to lead the advancement of Care.com's Search and Matching capabilities, a critical part of our platform. In this role, you will focus on enhancing the algorithms, sorting, and filtering systems that power seamless and personalized user experiences. Collaborating with top engineers, designers, and data scientists, you'll drive innovations that redefine how families and caregivers connect, delivering impactful solutions that improve lives every day.
Role Location & Environment : This is a Hybrid Role - qualified candidates will live close to our office locations and be open to being in office Monday, Wednesday & Thursday. We have offices in Austin & Dallas Texas, Salt Lake City Utah, & New York City
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Search and Matching, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering best-in-class user experiences.
- Use data, consumer insights, and market research to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement in search and matching functionality.
- Drive the re-architecture and optimization of backend systems, improving algorithm transparency and enabling efficient testing of new features and filters.
- Enhance frontend, customer-facing features with intuitive filtering, sorting, and personalized recommendations.
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists to deliver impactful product solutions that solve complex user problems.
- Develop and prioritize experiments, including A / B tests, to validate hypotheses and drive iterative product improvement.
- Foster collaboration and alignment across teams, presenting clear goals and requirements to achieve key milestones.
- Act as a subject matter expert on search technologies and algorithms, championing innovation and excellence in product development.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to inform decision-making and track the impact of improvements.

Salary Range : $135,000 - $165,000
The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care.com provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
