Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Recepionist to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient management of patient medical records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, state regulations).
Responsibilities:
Record Management:
- Accurately file and retrieve patient medical records (both electronic and paper) in a timely manner.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all patient information.
- Process requests for medical records from patients, physicians, and other authorized entities.
- Prepare medical records for release, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Scan and index paper records into the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all record requests and releases
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations regarding medical records (e.g., HIPAA, state regulations).
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Respond to inquiries regarding medical records in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 1

Pay: From $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
