**Job Title:** Behavioral Technician
We are dedicated to providing comprehensive Autism Therapeutic Services for children and young adults between 3 to 22 years old, enabling them to live independent and fulfilled lives.
The key objective of this role is to work with children diagnosed with Autism and related developmental disabilities using Applied Behavior Analysis principles. You will be implementing behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans in various settings, including home, school, and community, while assisting with parent training and collecting data to track client progress.
Responsibilities:
- Direct Care: Implement ABA techniques in 1:1 or group settings to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Data Collection: Track client behaviors and progress using specified protocols.
- Parent Communication: Support caregivers in implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaboration: Work with Behavior Analysts, Lead Behavioral Technicians, and other team members to assess and enhance client programs.
- Safety: Follow safe handling and intervention protocols during client sessions and maintain a clean and organized therapy space.
- Training & Development: Attend required training and maintain certification.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Preferred Experience: Working with children in a classroom or 1:1 setting, or implementing ABA principles.
- Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to various job sites.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assume various postures for extended periods.
