Job Description:
- Provide personal care to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting their dignity and well-being.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns.
- Monitor vital signs and provide emotional support to patients and their families, fostering a positive and caring environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe living space for patients, adhering to infection control guidelines and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications:
- You must be a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of New Jersey.
- Reliable transportation is essential for this role.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and fluency in English are required.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality is essential.
- Able to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of a New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalent.
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and basic arithmetic skills.
- At least 18 years old.
