We are seeking compassionate individuals to provide exceptional care to patients in their homes as a Home Health Aide (HHA) with Premier. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements:
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills
- At least 18 years old
