We're seeking dedicated home health aides and personal care assistants to provide exceptional care in the Queens area.
As a home health aide with CareConnect, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the highest quality care in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and arithmetic skills
- Age 18 or older
