The Role: As a Certified Home Health Aide with our agency, you will be working closely with our clients to provide personalized care and support. This includes assisting with daily living activities, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs.
Requirements:
- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in the state of NY
- Reliable transportation
- Able to work a minimum of 35 hours/week and every other weekend
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Fluent in English (able to speak and understand)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and importance of patient confidentiality
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
