CareConnect is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Certified Personal Care Specialist.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing personal care to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. They will also need to be able to assist with mobility and transfers, administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals, and monitor vital signs.
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, and perform light housekeeping duties as needed. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to patients in their homes
- Assist with mobility and transfers

Requirements:
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
