We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team at Gurwin in various locations across Nassau County, New York. As a Home Health Aide with Gurwin, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients in their homes, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with mobility and transfers to prevent falls and injuries
- Administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate records of patient information and vital signs
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
Our ideal candidate is a certified Home Health Aide in the state of NY, with previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or patients requiring home care. You must have reliable transportation and be able to work a minimum of 35 hours/week and every other weekend. Additionally, you should be fluent in English, understand HIPAA regulations, and possess basic literacy and arithmetic skills.
