Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety and well-being
- Administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to medical personnel
- Offering emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) licensure in the state of NJ
- Reliable transportation
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Fluency in English
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Able to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
- Satisfactory completion of a New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills
- Age 18 or older
