CareConnect is seeking a dedicated and caring Certified Home Health Aide to provide exceptional care to our clients in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals to patients.
- Assist patients with feeding, ambulation, and exercise, as ordered.
- Take and record vital signs, as ordered.
- Assist patients with self-administration of medication.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, as needed.
- Meet safety needs of patients and use equipment safely and properly.
- Report on patient conditions and significant changes to assigned nurses.
Requirements:
- You must be a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of MA.
- You must own reliable transportation.
- You must have an up-to-date CPR/BLS certification.
- You must be eligible to work in the United States.
- You must be fluent in English.
- You must understand HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality.
- You must be able to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties, as needed.
- You must have satisfactory completion of MA Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
- You must demonstrate adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills.
